On March 19, 2016 the City of Beloit Fire Department and the City of South Beloit Fire Department Swift Water Rescue Team performed a combined surface water rescue training exercise in the Rock River across from Wooton Park in Beloit. We had all of the motorized vehicles out performing precision maneuvers around buoys.
The team used South Beloit Fire Department’s water rescue mannequin and and practiced making water rescues. The team will be ready when the warm weather arrives to help keep our citizens safe!
