Construction activity will be taking place soon as part of the 2023 MFT Streets Program. Work to be completed by the Contractor as part of this project includes pavement removal, full-depth reclamation, new hot-mix asphalt, driveway pavement removal and replacement, aggregate shoulder work, and other related appurtenances. The following locations will be affected by construction activities:
Misty Meadows Subdivision
1. Thicket Lane between Liston Avenue and Misty Meadow Lane
2. Clover Lane between Misty Meadow Lane and Dorr Road
3. Hunters Way between Misty Meadow Lane and Dorr Road
4. Liston Avenue between Misty Meadow Lane and IL Route 2
5. Misty Meadow Lane from Hunters Way to Thicket Lane
De La Tour Subdivision
1. Kirane Court
2. Blackstone Court
3. Blackstone Drive
4. Surf Trail between De la Tour Drive and City Limits
5. Wild Deer Court
6. De La Tour Court
The project is anticipated to be completed over the course of 6-8 weeks with a scheduled start date of August 21st (weather dependent). The contract that the City has entered into with the contractor stipulates that reasonable access to all properties must be maintained at all times, and full road closures will not be permitted. Throughout the duration of the project, on-street parking will be prohibited in construction areas during the hours of 6:00 am through 6:00 pm. This allows the contractor to work more
quickly and efficiently until the project is completed.
