The City of South Beloit is accepting Statements of Interest from consultants for construction Engineering services for its ITEP Bike Path Improvements Project on various South Beloit Streets. The City of South Beloit was awarded an ITEP grant, with grant funds being allocated for construction engineering services and for construction of the overall ITEP Bike Path Improvements Project. The project consists of 1.31 miles of on road bike path facilities along with ADA sidewalk ramp improvements throughout the path alignment along various City Streets. All design engineering, including bidding services, are being finalized, with a June letting date.
The evaluation criteria and weighting for this project is as follows: Technical Approach 15%, Firm Experience 30%, Staff Capabilities 25%, Work Load Capacity 20%, Local Presence 10%.
Consultants should request a Proposal for Qualifications packet from the City Clerk. The packet contains a detailed description of the project, conflict of interest forms, and specific requirements for the format and content of their submission.
Interested Engineering firms shall submit their Statement of Interest (SOI) VIA EMAIL no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021, and should be addressed to Tracy Patrick, City Clerk. Proposals will be evaluated based on the Quality Based Selection process. At this time, it is not anticipated that interviews will be utilized as part of the evaluation process.
