Mason Bees are Nature’s Best Pollinators!

Be a pollinator hero and also boost your garden’s productivity by creating and hanging a home for peaceful, non-stinging Mason bees. Slightly smaller than honeybees, mason bees are incredible pollinators. Each one visits as many as 1000 blooms per day — 20 times as many as a honeybee!  Female Mason bees fill the tubes in the home with their eggs, and nectar and pollen for the young to eat.

Beekeeper and author Cinder Roherty will tell you all about Mason bees and guide you through the process of creating a Mason Bee House. All supplies are provided. Cindy has authored the book “Bee-ing Lily” among other titles.
